Im officially new, although Ive been reading on this site for well over a year now. We finally were able to get some chickens!!!! Im living in northern Alabama with my two kids ages 5yrs and 3.5yrs, husband, three dogs, one cat, brother, and now four chicks! We have 1 Black Star named Maggie (she is my personal baby), one Barred Rock named MoFo (this is my husbands bird and she lives up to her name, she is our ring leader!) and two RIRs named Money (my daughter named her) and Mighty (my son named her). the girls are just over a week old now!
Anyway we are super excited to finally have started this journey raising chickens!
