Hi, I'm Elly and I thought I'd join and stop lurking. Every time I google something to do with chickens, this site shows up.
I currently have 3 white leghorns, 6 baby tetra tints, and 6 baby black giants. I also have 4 runner ducks that were hatched in a school, then came to live with us when they were a few days old. 3 of the ducklings are in the picture with the kitten in my avatar.
I'm a stay at home mom to 2 full time kids, 2 beautiful step-daughters who are here every other weekend, 2 cats, and many many foster kittens throughout the spring/summer/fall. I love animals, and I love raising children in an environment where they learn responsibility, and help take care of many different kinds of animals.
That's enough yammering for now!
