Hello! how will my D'uccle grow up?

Hi everyone !

First time poster long time learner!

While I'm here, hope it's ok but I was also wondering if anyone has seen a D'uccle this colour before and know what she will grow up to look like, she's around 9 weeks old (picked her up yesterday) and I've heard they change as they moult.

Looks kind of like a cockerel to me....not sure of the color...maybe a mix of some sort?

She is a very pretty bird. I think its most likely a girl, usually the roo's have a redder comb at that age.

My little porcelain girl looked just like that. She STILL looks roosterish. In fact even our handyman who grew up with chickens keeps saying "That little rooster you have" and I have to think a minute
WHO they are talking about. She is definitely a hen tho, lays eggs and all that.

The comb looks a little pale but it could be the lighting? I just think I see saddle feathers...maybe?

I used to breed Porcelain d'uccles...

I did take this pic right after I brought her home so she was a little roughed up from being caught etc, could explain the feathers. Her comb looks the same colour as my other hen where when they were her age, although they are different breeds.
She has a few flecks of the chesnut colour on the tips of a few feathers on her back too
