Hi everyone!
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! Our family adopted 2 chicks about a week ago. They’re now about 3 weeks.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 2 - Torchic and Ziggy.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Not sure. One of the (many) reasons why I joined was to ask questions like this!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
So far, they’ve just been so cute to watch and be around.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy gardening, cooking, and staying active with my family.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have 3 cats and a beta fish named Draco that we also care for. We’re excited to have added our chicks, Ziggy and Torchic, to our family.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC while googling tips and advice for chicken care a few days ago. I’d love to get advice from more experienced people l.
