I have a beautiful 8 year old female Indian Runner. I adopted her when she was 1 years old. I also have a pet bird who I raised since she was a fledgling. I joined this website forum to learn and share information about ducks. Since I have had my duck, I have been through just about any situation you can think of. Unfortunately, she has had a broken wing and leg (from our Mastiff slipping off the bed and landing on her), she has been egg bound, and currently has an inoperable hernia and is being treated for the hernia and bumblefoot. I love her dearly and would do anything for her. She is treated like a princess and it took me years to perfect her daily care and health regimen. If there is anything I can share to help others who love their babies as much as I do mine, I would be happy to help. God bless and take care
