Yes, all young chickens behave obnoxious... puffing up and chest bumping and all that crazy kid stuff, even the lady pullets! Just new hormones, once they start laying all will settle down. You'll know that time is soon when you approach or reach down, the pullet will squat submissively with her wings slightly spread.
