hello, i have a sick hen with slimy snot in her beak, and swollen gooy eyes, she feels really light. i recieved in a trade 2 hens 5 days ago, the owner stated as she left not to worry if they were sneezing because everyone on her farm had allergies. the two chickens i recieved are fine, however one of my 2 barred rock hens started getting sick 2 days ago. she took water today wich was an inprovement over yesterday. what can i do for her? she hides under the rv all day and night. she is not comming out willingly. someone please help. this is my first time with a sick bird. i have 2 barred rocks and 3 rhode island reds. we just bought 5 acres and are planning to expand as soon as the new roost is finished, is my sick chicken contageous? m
