My wife is allergic to everything with hair (no punt!) but my 5 yo loves animals, chickens seem like a good choice considering we have so much space here.

He loves them.. named them all so we can't eat 'em.... just so cute to see him care for them, pet them, especially our lil' rooster who seems to like Isaiah for some reasons... he comes to him let him pet him.. I can't get 5' from him... lol...

Hi from Atwater Ca we have 4 hens that are now a year old! White Leghorn, Plymouth Barred Rock, Speckled Sussex and Rhode Island Red, We have now 4 more chicks we got from a local feed store, I’ll post pictures they are now 6 weeks old and little stinkers lol
