Hello! I'm new to BYC.

I'm "kinda" new to BYC. I've followed this website since the spring when my husband and I decided it would be great to have chickens. I've been wanting to become a member for a while but I just didn't get around to it until my Red started acting sick. But I'm happy I finally signed up!

We have a flock of 12 chickens of various breeds. I love spending time with them. I work from home so I spend a lot of time with them everyday feeding them treats and talking to them and hanging out during my break time. They are such sweethearts! We have a dominique, delaware, partridge rock, brown porceline wyandotte, cucko maran, buff orpington, 3 rhode island reds and 3 black astralorps.

I'm looking forward to being apart of the forum!

Welcome to The BYC. We've been keeping poultry for years and love them! Have fun here and if I can help you find your way around the Forum, let me know. We farm full time so I'm not on here all the time, although often the computer is left up and running. Nice to meet you and have a great time!
