I'm Cherie and new to this group. Last month my husband and I started our backyard chicken adventure. It has exceeded expectations so far. We have three RIRs and two Americaunas. It has been great fun to take care of them. We will raise them as a hobby and for the eggs. Looking forward to learning more and becoming a good carekeeper for our girls: Hester, Ms. Frizzle, Dottie, Dorie, and Bitty.

In addition to raising chickens, we also have a rescue dog (pitbull mix) who is curious (but afraid) of the chicks and kept safely away

Aaaahh sooo cute! I love how when we take pics of our babies one always is turned away! Hahah welcome to the group!
