I had a picture there but it disappeared. Haha this is all Greek to me. The posting that is. I have had critters all my life and poultry now for five years.
 
Oh thank you. I never would have thought of that. I'll try it in the spring.

As a kid, (long ago :old) I had a human imprinted pet gander. When he was 3 or 4 I bought some goslings. Within a day he gravitated to their pen. Next day I turned them loose, and he decided that he was a goose, and these were his kids. He paired with one of the geese and they raised many broods of goslings.

it does look like frostbite keep vaseline on it it often so it does not get worse do you have a window in the coop or a screen door of hardware cloth anyway to get better ventilation ?
