Thanks everyone! I just got an appointment to go pick out my chicks from a local hatchery. Super excited!!
Out here Hawks sit atop telephone poles and pick off any birds visiting bird feeders 
. I try to put out feeders ONLY when I will be home and can view the results from my kitchen window. Also have fat neighborhood cats that hang around hoping to snag a bird. They are not successful ON MY WATCH.
