Hello everyone! I'm new to the chicken world me and my dad are getting chickens soon and this is our first time getting chickens so I'm researching on how to take care of them and while doing that i found this forum i thought it was cool and really helpful so i joined. :D If anyone has any tips or tricks for beginners please let me know they would be extremely helpful.

Build a coop, don't buy a prefab.
Build a coop that is walk-in style!
Build a coop that is twice the size as you think you need and don't build anything until you visit the coop and run forum and understand what you need for a proper chicken coop. Do all of this before you even think about getting your chickens.
