Welcome! Your chickens sound amazing.
I also dislike eating my animals and/or rehoming them, which is one reason I only have girls. If you have roosters, you might have chicks, and if you have chicks, you'll definitely have more males, so it's important to have a plan for them.

The mean one is more than likely going to end up in a soup pot. If you don't want to do that, advertise him with full disclosure and somebody else will do it for you. Just insist it's done humanely. I would probably keep the Orpington and rehome the other one. I have successfully rehomed many males hatched from my flock and only one of them went to the freezer camp. The rest became flock leaders.

Thank you everyone. I'm 70 and just learning about chickens. I got my name, PirateRooster, about 45 years ago while traveling the world with Rock and Roll bands. I never really thought that I would have chickens one day. Yet, here I am.

Rooster troubles I guess! Sadly, those two other roosters have got to go. Everyone involved will be much happier if you can rehome them. Try Craigslist farm and garden locations.
