(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I grew up with chickens. Missed them and wanted to start up again 4 years ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We have 6
(3) What breeds do you have? Dominique and Wyndotes
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Organic eggs of course, companion in the yard when I garden, nibbling on insects/greens/rototilling
and I just love chickens bc they are sweet docile creatures. Can't have a rooster where we live. If I could have more, I would. Our pups love to hang with the ladies too.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I cooking, gardening, crafting, getting into canning and holistic medicinal gardening, nutrition
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Chef, married w/children, 2 Whippets
