This is the 1-2 chicken plucker from hatchtime. The plastic drum is heavy duty, its thicker than I thought it would be. Also there is no way for water to drip onto the motor or electrical parts, it's water proof. Furthermore, its easy to clean and dry, I wipe the top half with a small hand towel and then push it down and turn on the unit to dry the bottom half. I killed and processed two aggressive cockerels. I had my doubts, but this unit did a good job taking off those feathers. Its perfect for backyard chicken enthusiast. They have a bigger unit for those with lots of chicken to process.​
