We are first time chicken attendants and we adore our 4 ladies. Mabel, Hunny, Daisy and Willow. I've always been a law abiding citizen - and these girls have me thinking about installing a privacy fence. We can only have 4 hens, no roosters. But now I want 4 more hens. I'd think that if moving to the country or out of city limits is an option, that's probably easier than fighting with the law about it. I'm sure they'd just write you a citation and you wouldn't go to jail, but still, you'd not want that either.
