Thank you. I was able to get 2 pairs of white mandarins but really want a pair of natural mandarins and wood.Welcome to BYC ! You will find it expensive for eggs I saw some that sold for 289 .00 for 6 Mandarin eggs , and wood duck even higher price . Mine are not laying far too cold 18F here last night I think my Swans eggs are ruined . Sorry , can't help . If you wait until fall you can buy a young pair or two that is what I would advise . The little woodies are tricky to get to start to eat they require meal worms , baby red worms or some other small live food . If you buy a half dozen eggs chances are you may have a 50% loss if any survive especially if it's your first time with these species . Good luck in your search .
I agree with your choice . The natural colors are so nice they are like flying rainbows . In the fall most places that I know of sell the young pairs at a decent price . I wasn't trying to discourage you but the eggs are quite risky for the money .Thank you. I was able to get 2 pairs of white mandarins but really want a pair of natural mandarins and wood.
