My sister lives in a subdivision and can have chickens there as long as they aren’t running amuck. Surely you could have some chickens someday.

We used to be able to before we moved. I think technically they’re allowed here too but my dad didn’t want them here for some reason. and I’ll likely be moving into another apartment eventually and I think chickens are frowned upon. but maybe eventually!!!!

Maybe you could get a couple of little OEGB pullets as house chickens then! They wouldn't be any different than keeping a parrot. No noisy roosters though!

Not too much chickening happening the last few days so guess I hop over here to complain about the USPS.
Still haven't received my gloves or flannel. Here's the gloves. Funny that they've been in transit to next facility for a week
The next facility is my local post office.

Updated today. I knew they were lying.

No news on my gloves. It's all very sus.
Did get my flannel today though. Perfect because temps are falling fast. Predicted 9° in the morning with wind chills from 0° to -15°. One of those days I absolutely do not want to drive to work. It's gonna be stupid cold.
Been busy, busy. Work, dealing with a school project with the boy and running errands. Did finally find a used washing machine and got it picked up the other day.
Marketplace has been sketch and replying back lately and then it's been hit and miss with anyone one the same schedule as I am. My only free time is mornings on some weekdays.
That and finding someone willing to help load. They be thinking I'm crazy for asking.
I asked this dude and he said I'll be at work but I have a grown azz son that does nothing all day, everyday but set at the house. He can show it to you and d@mn well help load it. That's the kind of guy I like buying stuff from.
Been cold here. Too cold to really do anything not absolutely necessary. Survive tomorrow then Monday isn't gonna be bad and 5 or 6 days after that look really nice. Hoping that forecast doesn't change before they get here. Weatherman loves doing the bait and switch her.
That's about it for now.

We might get 6-12” according to my dad yesterday then I heard rain/snow mix from a friend then Weather Channel said 1-3” last night and again today which would equal 6” if the max. Yeah… we got barely anything. MAYBE an inch and that is stretching it.

My dad did say yesterday that they never know until the next day.
