Hi, my name is Ness and I am semi new to chickens. I had a couple when I was younger but that was a while ago. I bought some chicks recently. There was a problem with shipping and only 8 of 31 survived the trip. I will be getting some replacements next month or so. I am hoping to have a really nice flock going by the time next winter comes. Anyways, I am looking forward to all your help and advice as I start my new flock.

Theres lots of info in the Learning Centre, and joining your state thread (just type your state in the search box) will also put you in contact with BYC members local to you. If you have any questions, just ask - we are a friendly bunch and what, collectively BYC members know about chickens is truly amazing.
