Welcome to BYC. One rooster can cover 21 hens. If you want another, hatch or buy some chicks and raise them in an enclosed and protected area in your run. That way you will not have to worry about bring a disease in. Your older rooster will teach the younger boy the ropes without too much fightening. This will all work much better if you have a broody hen to raise chicks.
