Hello and welcome! Yes please decide if you want to keep him. The ratio of roos to hens is 1 roo per 8 hens, so he will eventually over stress the ladies when he starts his randy stage.

I have 13 girls now. I don't know if I can get rid of him. My son picked him, the second roo he has picked. He is begging us not to give this one away too. I could keep him separate from the girls when he gets bigger but isn't that mean? Or would he get mean because he couldn't get to them? With the 13 girls would he get worn out (lol) so he is not as aggressive?
