Hello! New here...duck and chicken owner

Hi everyone! I'm Liza and I'm excited to be here. I've read threads for a while but only recently joined. Thank you all for your help in creating my "Aviary" over the last year. Right now I have 2 almost-1-year-old Pekin ducks and 3 3-month old chickens living in the Aviary. I got 7 baby chicks on Thursday. 2 of them I am keeping and the rest are going to my friend once her coop is set up and the babies are able to move outside. One of the newbies has splayed leg, so she has been separated from the others and is currently in a makeshift "splint" to help try and fix the splay. What an adventure this all has been! In addition to my feathered friends, I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a fish tank (most of my creatures have been rescues--except the birds and some fish, really). Someday (when I hit the lotto) I hope to buy a house with much more property so I can open an animal sanctuary/rescue. Anyway...that's me for now. Nice to "meet" you all and I hope you are healthy and safe.
