Hello! New here!

I am a new chicken owner. I recently got 6 bantam cochins "supposed" to be pullets... I know for sure I have 2 cockerels. I am leaning more towards 3...They are completely free range on about 7 acres. Their coop is 4ftx4ftx6ft (16 total square foot floor space). They are only in the coop at night(clearly lol). So, my question is, will I be able to keep all 2-3 roos? They are about 6-7 weeks old and all seems to get along great now. My roos are actually the cuddliest little things, with one (Cluck Norris) being a sweet cuddly ball of feathers that loves to hang out on my shoulder..
I will post some pics of each when I get them and maybe y'all can back me up on my thoughts about gender!

Welcome to the world of chicken, also welcome to BYC.. I'm fairly new myself, others will come along and I hope they can answer your questions and concerns.. To be honest, when I joined BYC I had a lot of questions myself; I'm also new to chicken.. However, I learned a lot about chicken reading the articles and threads.. I think I'm newer than you. Dad had RR when I was probably 11. I'm reading everything I can to gain more info before I jump in feet first. .

Glad you joined the flock. There are lots of helpful folks here, or just friends if you feel the need. You can keep as many as you'd like. 16 sq ft sounds small even for bantams. And there's always"chicken math". There's good information in the coop and design area that should help.

Hi and welcome to BYC! A few things you might think about if you end up with three cockerels (roosters under a year old). You will need more pullets because a 1 to 1 ratio of hens to roosters is pretty hard on the hens. The other thing is that when the hormones kick in, your cockerels may fight each other, especially since the female companionship will be limited. If you kept one cockerel and added a few extra pullets, you'd probably be OK. I love cochins! They are so sweet and friendly, most of the time.
