Thanks guys! I’ve figured out what I’m going to do. I will add more pullets now. The coop I just built is going to be a back-up. I’m turning my large garden house, (I’m guessing around 15ftx12ft...HUGE) into our main coop...so if things go bad, I have a back up. I just don’t have the heart to get rid of anyone

The other thing is that when the hormones kick in, your cockerels may fight each other,...

I might add, they might fight you too..

I have 3 young roos that were raised together and, while they do fight on occasion, they live together with 7 girls and nobody seems to be any worse for wear. I do have 2 coops, and at least 3 more roos, so I feel like rather than sending anyone away, I will create a rooster flock and put them in the smaller coop.

3 roos in together should be fine. Especially if they are raised together. Good luck chook keeping!
