Hello! I’m a brand new chicken momma as of February. I started off wanting 10-12 but …chicken math…ended up with 26 and my darling husband didn’t say no and he has fallen in love with the chickens too! We lost 2 buff orpingtons- one was 10 weeks and the other 12, so our flock is currently at 24. We have 7 barred rock, 4 barnevelders, 2 black copper marans, 3 lavender orpingtons, 3 diamond duchesses, and 2 remaining buff orpingtons. They range in ages from 16 weeks to 20 weeks. We are happily living and loving country life in northeast Ohio.
