Hello, new member here!

New to raising chicks. I currently have 6. 2 Barred Rock, 2 Black Star, 2 Buff Orpington. They are a week old today.
I'm thinking of getting a few more this weekend so when it's time to go out to the coop, they will be the same age.
I have a Maine Coon and a German Shepherd as well. I have 2 acres in Southern Ca.
We will start constructing our coop soon!
