I joined 6 days ago when I received a pea chick that was bloated from wind puff. Everyone was helpful and it is doing great. I have all sorts of birds from various chickens and roosters. Don't care what kind, I love them all. We have over 50 of them with all the new hatchlings. It is sooo cute to watch them follow mom around eating bugs playing around and in mom. We also have ducks and rescue geese. We have a rescue ranch in Las Vegas an take in all kinds of animals. My 4 geese are the newest. They had some in roads with fishing hooks at one of the local park fishing lakes. And one had a broken leg and it healed straight. The poor thing has trouble swimming. It keeps going in a circle since it can't use it's leg. Otherwise she is doing great. Just want to say thanks for this forum. I have been on it several times but never joined until now. Thanks so much for having it

I remember your post about the peacock - so glad he is doing well. Wow, you sure have a lot to keep you busy. How kind of you to rescue animals and rehabilitate them.

I hate the new soft drinks without a carton but, linked together with plastic strips. Sure cheaper to package but, with plenty of woes to wildlife that will get caught up in the tossed out debris. I always take a scissors to it and cut the plastic into small pieces before putting out to recycle.
