Hello all! I'm new to this forum and it was recommended to me from one of the chicken grouos I'm a part of on Facebook. I have been a "chicken tender" for a little over a year. I started with a small flock of 6 black australops and an Ayam Cemani mix roo last year. This year, I have added 16 more chickens to the flock. I now have Americaunas, barred rocks, silver laced wayondottes, blue laced red wayondottes, amberlinks, fibrocanas, and rainbow eggers. I absolutely love my flock! They each have their own personalities and they are my happy place. My only other hobby is gardening. Eventually I'd like to add a couple goats and rabbits to my little piece of heaven, but that's down the road. I also have 2 dogs. We had 2 cats, but one we lost to an illness earlier this year and the other we lost to a spinal disease that ended up causing him to lose use of his hind legs. Back to the chickens...I found this group from a group I'm a member of on FB. Hope to learn a lot from here!
