Yes... these two new babies are wild chicks. There are a bunch of wild hens and roosters that stroll through our yard everyday. Some of the hens have little ones following them. I'd tried to figure out which one of the hens was the mother of my two judging from the size and color of the chicks. I'd placed my babies outside when the mothers came by, but none of them claimed the chicks. After a few days, the two little ones started following me around the house so I guess I became mama. When I am able to, I would love to post pictures of the babies to see if anyone can figure out what breed they are. One of the cuties has feathered legs. Maybe he/she is a mixture of feral and domestic?
