1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I have had chickens years ago but feel like I’m learning it all over again with these new chicks I just got

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 8

(3) What breeds do you have?
Barred Rock, Australorp, Rhode Island Red, Golden-Laced Wyandotte, some type of Orpington

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They all have an individual personality

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Antiquing, thrifting, photography

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a husband and three sons. We love animals and have three dogs, three cats and a beta fish besides our chickens. I stay very busy and work full time as a dental hygienist.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D I googled some questions about chickens and this page came up. It seemed like the perfect place to learn all I needed to know!
 
Now that my emotions are under control, thank you for joining us, you are Very Welcome here. I do apologize. I have so much covid information on my mind, its a major relief to reply to new members.

My mail carrier just delivered a package my son sent - 2- 5 pks. of cloth masks and 2 pack of the official masks with respirators. I worry about him and his girlfriend living right near ground zero in WA. where this all started .
