Hello poultry people! I love this site and am just now signing up to join the group. I have 3 australorps, 2 buff orpingtons and awaiting the arrival of 4 new standard barred cochins. One will be a roo. Im going to be breeding all to my cochin roo but specializing in breeding straight standard cochins. For those of you that sell chicks, eggs fertile and non fertile, pullets ir cockerels usually sell them for? Do you ship? Dangers of doing so? Promoting your babies? Im new to the selling game but have had egg laying ladies for a looonnnggg time lol. My ladies and soon to be roo are fed organically and free ranged and extremely spoiled. I love them!

Welcome to BYC!
If you are in the USA you will need a NPIP certification in order to ship.
You have to see what the market is for your local area.

Thank you so much! This article is very good and thorough! Thank you for your help and kindness!
