Wow very nice! I like the green irridescent shine of the feathers. 18 of these big birds all in one place has got to be an impressive sight when viewed in person.

Thanks guys,
they are about 24 weeks now.
One started laying at 22 weeks and the other has just started laying, I found 2 eggs in the box today.

I'm a banty person myself, but my son wanted JG's when I ordered so I couldn't say no.
I ended up ordering 3 standard breeds (JG, BR, and polish) and I'll have to admit that the standards are starting to rub off on me.

I'm planning on ordering some more standard girls next year and have a "HEN PEN".

I really have no life..

my family is full of left overs and snoring and its only 5PM in my part of the world...plus NO-ONE ever asked me for a PIC and I'm so EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Jg's I bought as 3 day olds, most have grown and are HUGE but there is this little tiny gal(?) and she never grew she is a fiesty little thing and fights her way in when I throw scratch (can run under others legs for treats). She is so sweet, but tiny....ever seen /heard of this? I try and get some pics but she is always hiding under or behind the others, when I'm out there. The others will all eat out of my hand sit on my lap etc.!
