Hi, my name is Fiona & I've had layer hens for 5 years. We recently acquired what I thought were pullets.. (1 broiler Cornish & 2 reds). Everything is screaming to me this 13 week old is a rooster. Im just looking for confirmation from my fellow chicken keepers please View attachment 3914004

I know I couldn't do it on my own, I'm an animal lover first & foremost. However I understand the Cornish are bred as meat birds, and given the rate at which they grew over a couple of weeks, I know the strain it puts on their organs/body. We never intended to have meat birds and dont think we'll have any more.

I get it. It's not for me either.
