hello, my husband and I started raising chickens a year ago and I absolutely love them to death! Didn’t realize they would be so much fun. Although, I may have made a grave mistake. I separated a brooding hen from the flock to keep her safe. She had a beautiful chick but now they’ve been separated from the flock for a while. I’ve read the other may have forgotten her and may attack her and her chick when I try to reintroduce her. is there a way to do this safely? Need advice please..

Hello, welcome to BYC.
Every situation depends on the personalities and dynamics of the flock. Without knowing anything about your flock, my suggestion would be to section off a bit of your run with hardware cloth. Put a small hut on weather proofed housing inside. Add mom and the chick. The other hens will get used to them soon. Then, after a week or so, you can observe while letting them out in the big run.
Good luck!
