Hello, :frow and Welcome to BYC! Your chicken cabin is really neat. Those are going to be some lucky chickens.

thank you, hubby had the idea to make it match our cabin minus porch.

does anyone have tips for moving the girls to new coop?? they are in one now not very large or hardy as cabin.locking them in with food n water seems harsh.

When I built my new coop I just put them in in the morning with food and water. I watched them for a bit and they started right away fixing the nest, trying the roosts out and digging in the run.

Just put them in with all the amenities, don't put them and then start fixing things up. Move them in and let them get settled on their own, Unless it's a life or death situation leave-em be for a couple of days. Roosts I would put about 4 feet high at the most and keep all the roost the same height (avoids competition) and higher than the nests.
