Move them in and let them get settled on their own, Unless it's a life or death situation leave-em be for a couple of days. Roosts I would put about 4 feet high at the most and keep all the roost the same height (avoids competition) and higher than the nests.does anyone have tips for moving the girls to new coop?? they are in one now not very large or hardy as cabin.locking them in with food n water seems harsh.
