Hi there, new member here coming at you all the way from New Zealand.
I’ve grown up with and owned chickens in the past but have recently come back to having backyard chickens. At the moment we have 3 Orpington and 2 gold laced Wyandotte that are 7 and 9 weeks old.
We’re looking forward to getting some fresh eggs come spring and following along for advice and info!

It is beautiful here, we live in a small country town in the lower South Island and it has a wonderful safe community feel. Definitely not renowned for the weather though
