Hello, My Name is Zoe. And I live in Northern Ny. Pretty much the middle of no where for those who share this area
.
But, its a great place for keeping animals, Such as ducks, and chickens. Which I have recently aquired and is the reason I have decided to join this forum.
I have had chickens almost my entire life, and have decided to take on the challenge of ducks.
I have 6 pekin ducks, about 2 months old, BOY O BOY they grew Fast! And The other day, I bought myself 6 Baby Khaki Campbells. Only about a week old.
For chickens I have, 6 bantams, unknown what breed, Tractor supply just labels them as "bantams" Which kind of sucks. :-/ When they get bigger im sure ill recognize what they are though.
I also have 4 Rhode Island reds, and 6 Americuanas
Which are only a few weeks old.
My boyfriend used to have many chickens, and although he doesnt eat eggs, they were the best thing in the world to him. Like pets. Sadly when we went away, my brother who was supposed to be caring for them forgot to shut the coop door at night... and a Racoon got in.
And they even chewed a whole right through the ceiling and also ate our pheasants
.
Well anyway, I think thats a long enough intro
I cant wait to get to know all you guys and your ducks!
