Hello everybody I live in Omaha, Ne.-New to Chickens-I'm getting ready to build the coop-trying to decide if I want a Tractor or a Cute Hen house, I am still waiting on my permit I have 5 girls, now about 8 weeks old Easter Egger, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Australorp, Speckled Sussex & a Light Brahma. I'm excited to have found this site. I have learned lots!!

Congrats on your babies! We've got 1 week old in the brooder right now, so entertaining to watch.

I'm sort of regretting building a hen house versus a tractor. I'm going to have to round up the troops to move the thing once we get the foundation completed in its permanent spot.
