In the Brooder
Hi Everyone,
My name is E and I’m relatively new to owning chickens. It was always my dream to have a flock of my own and my partner surprised me last Christmas with four newly hatched Pekin Bantams.
Some more interesting facts -
1. I just finished a degree in visual arts.
2. We take part in Fauna rescue.
3. We hand built our chicken enclosures.
4. I love my chickens completely and so do my partners kelpies!
I’m looking forward to meeting new people through this page and growing my general knowledge about chickens as well as breed specific knowledge about Pekin and Frizzle Bantams!
I’ve attached two photos of my Chooks. I’d love help identifying their gender.
Kind regards, E x

Hopefully the Black is the only Cockerel. I was worried about the two grey ones because their combs and wattles are bigger than my white girl .. but then again I don’t know much about this breed or how to sex them! I’d love any tips you might have
