Hi Astrid and welcome to the site! I just found it too and I've been up all night for several nights reading and posting, when I go back to work after my break I'll be in withdrawals! I know another Astrid too, her father worked with my brother in El Paso. It's not a common name but it's pretty!

Thank you, those of you who commented on my name. I've always loved it; my granparents were Swedish immigrant wheat and beef cattle farmers in Kansas (though I'm a New England girl; my dad moved east after college!) I love my Swedish heritage. "Astrid" isn't very common in the USA, but quite common in Sweden.

Thank you for the warm welcome-- and you're all correct--- I think our flock will grow!
