Im Mary my granddaughters call me Marema (mare-ma). I’ve had chickens for years and enjoy them as pets and egg producers. Currently I have 19 hens, 2 roosters, a 3 week old and 3 2 day old chicks fresh out of incubation. Each fall and winter I build my group so they are ready to lay in the early winter/spring.

The 3 week old was a single hatch (other one didn’t make it) so I think she’s going to become a pet. My cats love her and so far so good with the BabyAlive diapers and anticipation training in a spot all her own.

I live on almost 2 acres and have cats, and pet rats. Maybe goats in the future.
