Hello everyone! My mother posts on here(I have to figure out what her posting name is...) and told me about this site. I am loving the information!!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm new to chickens again. We raised chickens when I was a kid, growing up in the mountains of WV.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I don't have chickens right now, we are in the process of building me a coop, I can't wait!
(3) What breeds do you have?
I just want laying hens. I had Rhode Island Reds in high school that I really liked. I want large eggs, cause I like to bake!
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I ride and train horses, love reading, photography, bicycling and beading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a lovely little dog named Cookie, who is my shadow. I can't wait for my chickens!! I also want a Jersey milk cow, a dairy goat and a garden!
