Hi and welcome! Your brooder is very small, I’d get a bigger setup sooner than later! And just a heads up, sexing silkies by their wings almost never works. I wound up with 2 roosters that were wing sexed as hens. Just letting you know! Silkies are one of the hardest breeds to sex. Unless they’re professionally vent sexed, there’s absolutely zero guarantee that they’re girls. Best of luck!Introducing myself! I’m Jenny aka silkiemommy23!
I’m new to chickens so please forgive me if I call something the wrong term. I swear I’m gonna get it correct! Lol
I have 4 straight run’s recently learning I actually have white silkie bantams. Their names are Duncan, Daisy, Webb, and Boca! All girls! I’m in the process of designing a coop with attached run. I’m good with building being as I actually build furniture. I’m eager to learn. Whatever advice you feel I need to know please tell me. Thanks in advance for answering the million questions I have yet to ask. LolView attachment 3457156
