My name is Cainon. I am new to the chicken world and I hope to continue learning and raising happy healthy chickens.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, I picked up my first chicken about 3-4 days ago now. Leghorn (I believe) rooster.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Just the rooster. Felt bad the guy so went ahead and order 10 more hens lol. just jumping right on in.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rooster- leghorn
Hens- Speckled Sussex
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Good ol Google, I was looking up some questions on breeding and this site was very helpful.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Iv been so busy lately I have forgotten hobbies still exist.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My family and I live on a farm out here in Virginia animals. My dog is one of my children (plott hound). My wife's dog is ok hahaha. Not sure of his breed just that he is small and fluffy. hope she never reads this part.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google, about a week, I joined bc I feel like after reading some of these post I can really learn alot here.
