I'm new on this pg so here it goes I have a barred rock that I got in February 7 at about 4 weeks I noticed the waddle was redish and larger then the other ones and at 8 weeks it was even mote larger and red and now it's more red then the other girls it's now 12 weeks old can anyone tell me if it's a rooster please

Normally, with a comb that large at twelve weeks, I'd be saying for sure cockerel. It doesn't have double barring though, so if it's a cockerel it must not be a pure Barred Rock. I'm leaning towards it being a boy, just because I can't see a pullet having a comb that huge.

That's what I'm saying my son was the one that spotted it out I got them from a hatchery place up north and delivered so idk yes as a baby it was alway a little more red then the other then bigger
