I am new to the chicken/rooster thing and am so glad to have found this web site. Have already learned something tonight. Last month I had 3 new pets added to the family. A rooster named Barney and 2 hens named Wilma and Betty. Barney refuses to crow now and not sure why but at least Wilma and Betty will cluck at me. I am hoping to learn all there is about keeping them healthy and happy.

- I like the cartoon character names. I have the Power Puff Girls my barred rocks blossom buttercup and bubbles, Betty Boop and had Miss prissy but had to change her named to Prince when she decided to be a boy.
