I loved your intro... I raise birds for meat and eggs. We give our birds the best possible life and a quick and humane end, so they can provide meat for our table. Once you've eaten yours you'll find it hard to go back to the grocery store for chicken.

Don't feel bad about processing those cockerels. They've already had a far better life than the one you cooked for dinner.
And if you prepare your dog's food, you must feed a raw diet like I do so whatever is left over after processing your birds can be fed to the dogs. They love chicken feet in particular if you haven't fed them those yet.

I did not know that! Thank you! I felt bad because my chickens now get scraps that used to go to the dogs. So I gues now in a way the dogs will eventually get it
