I have just joined this forum and I wanted to introduce myself and say what a great place this seems to be! I don't have my chickens yet, but we're in the beginning stages of planning for them, so I wanted to do it right. Looks like coming here was the right first step! What a wealth of information! I'll be weeks just reading!

My husband, myself (Carla), 4 dogs and 3 cats live on a small property in the Southwest US and we're very interested in having a backyard chicken operation. I have a lot of questions, some of which have been answered already.

Just wanted to say hello and I'll be talking with you all soon!

Hi and welcome. You are correct about the wealth of information. I am still fairly new myself and I have learned alot. If you have any questions, then do not hesitate to ask. There will always be someone here ready and eager to answer and help in any way that they can.
