Some of you may remember me, while most probably won't, so I will reintroduce myself..
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am not new to chickens.. I started my first flock about 15 years ago and I was a very active member on here.. I sold my flock off about 7 years ago due to several stressful events, including 2 hurricanes..
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None, but will be getting chicks in the next week or so!
(3) What breeds do you have?
See above.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
"Cheep" therapy and fresh eggs!!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love building and creating! Give me materials and tools, and I will spend all day making something..
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My family is a bit unconventional, so feel free to ask in private.. I'm very open about it, but know some would disagree.. Otherwise, I have 4

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
As stated above, I have known about BYC for 15 years, but have been inactive for the past 7.. My husband suggested about a week ago that I get chickens again, and I didn't hesitate.. He's loving watching how excited I am and I'm in the process of building my brooder.. In the next few weeks, I will begin building a new coop! I am excited to share the knowledge I still have and to continue learning more!
